November Pep Talk from Molly-Ann Leikin

There are too many music moguls who say "no" to creative people like us just to be safe.

They have "show me the bottom line" jobs, and forget what art is all about.

But that doesn't mean you don't have something unique to contribute.

And that doesn't mean you won't get your shot.

The success you're looking for is looking for you, too.

Remember that as the no's line up and try to stop you from getting where you're supposed to be.

Write another song and make another phone call.

Someday, the universe will surprise you with a sunrise when your dreams are flailing in quicksand.

Meanwhile, I'm proud of you, and I'm in your corner all the way.
