Early in their careers,
Oscar-winning director, Mike Nichols, and his partner, Elaine May,
were starving improvisational actors in New York.

As they tried and failed and tried something else,
refining their craft until finally finding their way,
they kept reminding each other that

for an artist, the most dangerous thing is to play safe.
The safest thing is to take a chance.

I felt it was important to share this with you
and the music in your heart.
