Co-Writing Songs

Co-writing songs is exciting.  Even though I often write the whole song – words and music – by myself, and make world-class, movie-ready recordings on my own, when I enter into a co-writing situation, I’m always happily surprised by the outcome.

I bring my creative energy to the table, you bring yours.  The combination of you and me is much bigger than the two of us.  We aren’t just two people involved in co-writing songs any more.  A third party seems to be present, helping us find creatively what we wouldn’t have found alone or by co-writing songs with someone else.
